Competition Awards
Two teams of Design C students win awards in the ACSA Green Communities
International Student competition. Competition WinnersTim Keepers & Wes Bradley, design MOBILITY IN FLUX was awarded Honorable Mention in the 2008-09 Concrete Thinking for a Sustainable World – Transit Hub (Category I), International Student Design Competition. The project was completed in the Advanced Design B course taught by Vikas Mehta and myself in the fall of 2008.
The Tampa Bay Chapter of the American Institute of Architects has recognized the Franciscan Center Riverside Pavilion, designed and built by USF School of Architecture and Community Design students, with a design award. The project was awarded an Honorable Mention, Associate/Intern Category “conveyed on those projects which demonstrate a commitment to excellence in architectural design.”
