2004 Children's Village Conference
USF Internal Award Grant
Co-chaired with Dr. Stan Graven the organization of a conference on early childhood
architecture. The intent of the conference was to bring together and incorporate concepts
of early child development such as proximal environment of the child as a basis for the
design of preschools. Edited the proceedings of the conference and of the subsequent
designs in a structured document.
2003 Seminole Heights Urban Study
Tampa Bay Planning Commission
Coordinated an urban study of Seminole Heights area with members of the City of Tampa
Planning Commission and with local architectural community.
2003 Sarasota Main Street Analysis
City of Sarasota Zoning Department
Managed a funded urban study of Sarasota's downtown core. The resulting document
tested and illustratecd the architectural and urban design impacts of a proposed zoning code.
It further critically assessed the consequent effect the proposed urban code would have on Main Street.
2003 Campus Memorial
Organized with late sculptor Richard Beckman and three dimensional arts professor Rozalinda Borcilla
an interdisciplinary commissioned competition to design a memorial on the USF campus.
2003 Florida AIA Convention, Sarasota
Organized a mixed-use design charette at the Florida AIA Convention in Sarasota. The individual projects
produced together defined a new main street, a main street that could be envisioned as a result of the
implementation of the City's new code.
2003 Sarasota School of Architecture Symposium
Co-edited and organized the proceedings of the 2001 Sarasota School of Architecture Symposium
for the Sarasota Arts Foundation.
2002 Lecture Series
Established a lecture series at the USF's School of Architecture.

Design consultant for the ADP Group in Sarasota.
Fifteen story residential mixed-use tower over parking and retail.
2005 Florida Presbyterian Homes, Lakeland
Design of eleven attached and detached low income elderly houses on a lakefront.
2004-05 Schrock Residence, Sarasota
The design for the riverfront residence suggests a local reinterpretation of the Villa Mallaparte.
The structure and its stairstepping roof terrace is placed along the river's edge and oriented
toward the summer solstice's setting sun.
2004 Lesur Residence, Sarasota
The corner site house is organized in plan as a large L-shape forming interior and exterior
courtyards. The design combines traditional and contemporary materials such as clay tile
roofs and brightly colored powder-coated perforated metals.
